Work by Hawkeye Community College Instructor Featured at Cedar Rapids Museum of Art

Jennifer Lynn Bates, assistant professor of fine arts and Graphic Design, has work included in Land/Scape: Climate, the Environment, and Beyond, An All-Iowa Juried Exhibition at the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art. The exhibition runs from February 6-May 19, 2024. Bates was invited to create a site-specific installation about the Flood of 2008 and its impact on the Cedar Rapids area. Her work is entitled FLOOD 08. Bates will participate in an artist interview and Q&A with curator Julia Jessen on May 15 via Zoom.
